Connection Groups

We were designed by God to seek out life changing power. In other words we were designed to be plugged into God’s community. God has fashioned within each of us a deep desire to be in community and relationship with other Jesus followers. The New Testament Biblical model that we are given happens primarily through the functions of the local church by way of plugging in to what the church is doing to advance God’s kingdom. This happens in various ways through volunteering and serving in the different ministries and outreaches of the church and on a more deeper level by getting plugged into a small group. The opportunities to be involved and get plugged in at EH are many in multitude and we have a number of “Connection groups” in different areas throughout the Memphis region all a little different, with different age ranges and even personalities but all focused on the same common goal of fellowship and growing deeper in Christ. You can find a list with contact information for all of our connection groups on the big announcement board in our sanctuary foyer or contact us for more information. We encourage you to get plugged in via 3 different major areas.
1. Attend services faithfully.
2. Join a connection group regularly.
3. Volunteer and serve Wholeheartedly.
4. Give generously.
